Becky Gage has done a wonderful job of creating a book that is both fun and educational. My children love the pop-up scenes and the QR code videos. Every page is full of information about Deaf culture, American Sign Language, and Deaf history. The best part is that it is written in a way that is accessible to both children and adults!
I would recommend this book to all families with a deaf loved one, schools that want to foster inclusion and cultural awareness, and any adult learning about the Deaf Community.
It is amazing!
